Singh N54 Tune - Anyone with any experience?

Just was reading this on their site:

We finished the program for the 135i/335i and 535i earlier this year. The results on 135i/335i and 535i are amazing, I have attached a picture of a 135i on a dyno in Germany hitting 174mph at 6100rpm. We took this car up to 197mph!!! Singh Autosport has never been a promoter of 'piggy back' systems. We would rather read and write a new file for the car. Tuner's with limited knowledge will tell you BMW can tell if its been programmed and will void the warranty, piggy back is the best way to go, blah, blah, blah. BMW is actually one of our biggest customers, they understand exactly what we do.

The car is programmed via OBD2 and can also be bench flashed.
    Here is the pic:

This doesn't make sense to me though, why would you attach a pic of the tach with the car on a dyno instead of the dyno sheet supporting your claimed figures Click here to enlarge

he may have pegged his speedo, but judging his revs, thats not 197. the 6mt 3.08 diff combo gears out at 199 at 7k revs in 6th. maybe this is an auto? i hear their 6th is longer.

Sorry to bring this thread back alive, but I'm a true believer of the Singh N54 tune. I have a baseline dyno and will put up a post dyno for your viewing pleasure after Wednesday. The owner, Jags, from Singh Autosport personally drove up from LA to the bay area to up/down-load my software. He's one of the few tuners who are recognized worldwide. He may not be on these forums defending and promoting his tunes, but the tunes speak for themselves.

    My 2 cents.

Please put up the dyno when you get a chance.

If Singh wants to prove the quality of the tune they are welcome to participate in our tuner dyno shootout being held next month.

Don't worry, I'll get you some dyno results tomorrow or no later than Thursday morning. I was waiting for the tune to fully adapt before running a post dyno. My baseline was 262 whp & 275 lbtq on 3100 miles.

    Will do.
I've seen lots of guys on different boards claim to have the Singh tune and don't follow up with dynos so there's no real world results for comparison against other flash tuners. Wait no more, tomorrow is D-day. Click here to enlarge

    2010 N54 E90 Singh Autosport Post Results

Ok. So it took me a while to get the results back from the dyno shop since I'm running a Macbook and haven't converted to bootcamp. Sorry for the delay. Here are my results:
RunFile_006: Baseline run, Stock tune, 91 octane, 80.28 deg F, Humidity 22%, 3112 odometer miles
Runfile_010: Post run, Singh Autosport tune only, 91 octane, 92.43 deg F, Humidity 15%, 3650 odometer miles

    Enjoy!Click here to enlarge

Retails for $695. ECU controls the exhaust flapper so its always open. In DS, it's a totally different animal. After 500 miles on the tune, I've experienced +3 mpg city given I only have 3800 miles on the car. I'll find out what kind of all highway mpg I get in the next 2 weeks.
IMO. I would compare the Singh A/S tune to JB3 Map 3. Although I'm not looking for gobs of power for a straight line drag, I want to have great drivability with a decent amount of power on tap when needed. I can contest the Singh A/S flash definitely transformed the 335i for the better. Jags of Singh A/S doesn't recommend DCI, but a replacement drop-in filter. He recommends scoops, an upgraded FMIC, and Supersprint headers. I plan on upgrading the FMIC and Sway Bars in the future. Click here to enlarge

It compares more to JB+ at default settings, JB3 map 3 will produce closer to a 60 rwhp delta from baseline.

Yikes, I hope he does not recommend headers for this platform.
