    S65 E92 M3 exhaust cut out-open and closed comparison

100% stock S65 E92 M3 Cut-outs just before stock mufflers. (all OEM cats/resonators in place)
GoPro silences a lot of the sound though
1/3 open is truely a perfect exhaust note with no drone
fully open is obnoxiously loud and very fun, but significant drone
fully closed is, well exactly like stock

id like to get some WOT done, but it started drizzling as i went outside Click here to enlarge
I can do that another day though, and hopefuly figure out how to get realistic sound from the GoPro as well

You should use the skeleton case for the GoPro when the car is not moving, so we can hear the actual sound, instead of the muted sound. It sounds nice though, for stock. I think one of the most impressive setups I have heard is the Gintani full race system with their x-pipe, or x-pipe + Meisterschaft GT2 or Remus Race, those are my favorite setups for the E9x M3's.

starting off well! I love the idea of being able to control how loud you are. But i agree with leo985i about the Gintani Full race with x-pipe, just sounds sick.

i am using the skeleton case for gopro, its just SOOOO loud. AK will get to hear it this weekend.

fully open puts Gintani race to shame. 1/3 is about perfect. the video's really dont do it justice.

im going to keep the stock X-pipe and 2nd cats/resonators, delete front cats for now. as much as I love the gintani stuff, im a budget builder.

Blower has not been chosen yet, but saving $3k on exhaust allows me to choose a blower in the first place Click here to enlarge

once i get the blower, ill swap out for the gintani x-pipe to see if there are gains worth switching. while N/A im not TOO worried about 5-10 hp
if the gintani x isnt worth more than 15hp+ when s/c'd ill just sell it and go back to the original configuration,(you can quote me on that)

    Nicely done video.

The audio is oddly muffled though.

its gotta be a gopro internal cutoff or something. @akh23456 can vouch for how loud it is in person, when fully open.. 1/3 open is equivilent to a docile rear section exhaust

I've seen gopro exhaust videos that were really clean and audible. I don't get why yours is different.
