I don't think we have really established what the internals can take. Even mid 550's can be done I think, probably more. BMW motors are stronger than people think.

its crazy.. a .28 jet and he gains about 22 whp.. not too shabby.. kind makes ya wonder about someone else's run though.. day 1 he runs the NWR for "no nos", but then exactly 1 week later when testing NOS, 1 exact week laterin the same car, and ups to the .32 (a 90 hp increase) he only runs 1-2 mph faster than his "no nos" recod runs.. and claims to have been "working on Nos for a while" then takes down his old slips so we can't compare them to his real "no Nos runs"

either way, OP has some good numbers, i am very impressed, nos is not for me though, and i have no idea how safe his runs are, but the power increase is definatley worth it if thats what your looking for

you don't really have to say anything.. those few simple observations, coupled with a shady history of stretching the truth, would make anyone throw up a BS flag..

I like the look of 480rw! I'm really curious how much I'll be able to squeeze out of our 135i with the factory catback/mid cats. We'll find out and then there is probably a CPE catback in its future. Click here to enlarge

With Sac you never know. Maybe that week the timing lights decided to boost your MPH 2-3mph. And then the week after they were normal again. $#@! like that happens all the time there.

On these runs they are a bit leaner than I'd like but OP was running 110 leaded to compensate for that. Probably OK but not how I'd do it. The real risk with leaded fuel is taking out an o2 sensor. Which will give false readings, throw off the closed loop fueling, and might ruin your day if it happens during a long full load nitrous run.

Ya ya, and it would have 145 mph with a full bottle, and 150 mph with the transmission working correctly, we get it.

He has gone rather quiet after those transmission mishaps, eh? Wonder what the real deal is.

    EXACTLY.

That is why I just don't have respect for the guy. He desperately tries to cling to this stupid image he is trying to craft for this 335 instead of just manning up and stating what is really going on. I don't like that.

If he really believed his car ran 133 why wouldn't he come out to run cars that trapped SLOWER?

What does that tell you of his confidence in his own number? What does that tell you about how that car is running?

i don't recall all the back story on all of that, so i won't comment as i don't know anything. I do compare slips and trap speeds with other competitiors very often. and when 2+2 don't make 4, well, i would have to question things.. now, if you can only add 2+2 1 time before your head implodes, thats another story..

so i guees im looking at something like this, if 450rwhp can get you, say 123mph, and 500rwhp can get you 130mph in same car same variables weight, same track, etc..and your mods are maxed to get that 450hp@ 123, what can you do to gain those 3-4mph, assuming both cars are already using equal amounts of weight reduction to attain those mph? we know juice is used to get the 500/130mph.. see what im getting at? and these #'s are all conservative, as you know.. im just saying..

certainly some tomfoolery going on and Ive been on Hotrod's case since day one of his antics. I believe him about as far as I can throw him, which is nowhere being he's on the wrong coast.

I wouldnt be shocked if someone posted a link to proof of Hotrod jerkin off to his vbox pictures.

that tells you that the car is broken and he doesn't want to report it for some reason, Terry make him agree to that?

You guys are crazy. Have any of you ever met him? He's the nicest guy and a true enthusiast.

On his other car the lease was up and I think it went back to the dealer. The transmission had taken a beating and was slipping at higher power levels for sure. Such is life pushing the boundaries.

LOL if he broke something he'd post about it. He posted up a video of his fried squealing loud turbos on his first car. Showing off broken parts are like battle scars to true enthusiasts.

I wish that was the picture I had of him.....unfortunately to myself and apparently many others he comes off as a something different.
