Fooling around on the internet (while planning my first real turbo build), I found these:

    http://www.turbodriven.com/en/perfor.../matchbot.aspx

    http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/webadviser

The Borg-Warner tool is much more detailed than the Garrett tool, and requires more knowledge of your particular build, but using both tools should let you compare different turbos based on your setup. They take a lot of the math out of turbo sizing.

I wasn't sure if this post deserved it's own thread, feel free to move it if you think it does.

Right now I have a 2006 GTO, but I'm reasonably certain I will buy a Subaru BRZ after my mortgage is paid off. Stock the BRZ isn't quick enough for me, but with a smallish turbo I think it will meet my needs.

So a 2.0 liter, at least until the first engine blows up. Click here to enlarge
