GG - any way we can get a video of your car with the camera on the ground pointing to the cutout? I did that before with my car. I revved it with it open and then closed it and revved it when closed. You can see it close in the video. That would be cool if you could do that. I want to hear what your exhaust is like with it closed with the stock muffler and open. I was going to go with three mufflers plus only 3" pipe to be stealth, but ended up with a single giant 28" plus a 16" muffler. The first test seemed very quiet from what I remember it was like before. I won't know for sure until I drive her, but it was very quiet sitting in the car at idle and revving which is good.

My old exhaust will be up for sale and I could just purchase another cutout. However I could use my old one if I wanted, I would just have to make the cutout pipe go from 3" - 3.5" for it since my previous exhaust was 3.5". I still have the switch for it in my center console so it would be an easy hookup.

Just curious, why didn't you decide to go with a Hobbs switch instead of an on/off? I used an on/off switch but contemplated a Hobbs. I wanted to be able to run silent even in boost which is what you probably want to do.

Last but not least...I was told it would be a bad idea to have the cutout with a stock DME tune since it changes the AFRs so much. Since you have a TRM chip tune it seems this actually isn't an issue, correct?

Looks like I will be upgrading to Trm's new Digi maf. I like the fact it allows for more room for a larger air filter, and better res for tuning. Cant wait to get it on the car.

I'm sure I will as well, and I cant wait to get a ride in the build Don is doing for you. It will be great to go for a ride in the setup Don is doing for you. I still plan on driving over to your home and riding out to the PA wizard, and back in your power whore project.

Sounds like a plan. If you need a ride out to pickup your car when the new MAF is installed, let me know.
