Makes me want an M3 now. Looks like a fairly simple install. Is LM going with this kit?

I think he is planning on a Gintani Stage 2+ but this seems to be a solid option and nice kit.

I would most certainly consider this kit if I had an M3. It took VF a long time to come out with a kit, but I'm sure they had their reasons, it must be very solid!!!

VF put 30k+ hard supercharged miles on their green car with no failures. We have been giving our car hell...no drama. Time will tell, but the tune is really working well. VF still has a bit of a black eye on the forums thanks to the S54 tuning challenges....but they sorted it out and have a lot of great running cars out there.

We had one at Bimmerfest with us...~500 whp.

Another was at Bimmerstock - 500+whp.

We also built this 700hp one...no problems. Click here to enlarge

We had a ~450hp 6sp VF 540 Touring at ///MPACT - not as fast but cool as hell.

We built all of these cars....so there is no hearsay.

Glad you mentioned that before somebody else did actually. They have a chance to change all that now and sure seem to be going in the right direction.

What a supercharger installation on an E92 M3 with the S65 V8 looks like - Time lapse supercharger install video

The recently officially released VF-Engineering supercharger kit for the E90,E92,E93 M3 has been making some waves. Most of you should already know that the kit powered a car well into the 10's in the 1/4 mile. Clearly well tested, tuned well, and just a good overall kit with quality hardware. This video shows exactly what is involved in installing the supercharger on the M3. If one is interested, BimmerBoost vendor VAC Motosports carries it.

    Awesome video.

They should have plugged the velocity stacks during install - would have been easy to drop a nut or bolt into one of them.. Other than that, looked like a cool video.

When a vendor like VAC is actually willing to address a customer's potential concerns about a product or company, it gives me a lot more confidence in both the vendor and the product. I'm sure this kit is great quality and I don't think VAC would put their stamp of approval on it if it wasn't...

I rode in the green VF supercharged E92 M3 for a few laps on track and it went into limp mode on every single lap. The guys who brought it said it hadn't been fully tuned yet, so I hope that's been taken care of because it was an absolute rocket!

I put a lot of street miles on the green car and it was solid (even after the 30k miles of abuse it took) but we never officially pushed it on track. No sense really, as we had the kit on our car the day after the green car arrived here Click here to enlarge I can say with confidence that our white car absolutely killed it on track.

    Brey - thanks!

ps. we had the green car on Thunderbolt as a pace car for fun.

I believe it should, haven't read anything about RHD E92's having trouble with SC's.
