Wow, keep us informed about this. As things continue to progress, I think many of us might have found a new alternative. I wonder if they are not using a piggyback system similiar to the one HPF are using?

I'd love to see some turbo V8 M3 content...is the swede on any forums or have a website?

If you read my article on why HPF won't do an E92 M3 turbo you will see I said we will eventually see a turbo S65 just that it is extremely challenging. Please don't put words in my mouth.

Amazing to see this car up and running on the dyno. This m3 is rhd. In our cars the steering components would be on the side were they mounted the turbo. I wonder how much room is really underthere on our Lhd m3.

You raise a huge point about the RHD vs. LHD... just saying. Expect to be shocked soon and to see more on this particular aspect as well. Click here to enlarge

Sticky, I agree. It might not be the thing for us in North America, but to see this monster come alive has really peaked my curiosity. Lots going on right now. Vag's new vf running mid 10's, your car getting a little closer, this turbo monster from savspeed. All of this coming together may spring and summer very exiting for M3 owners.

Maybe, however I bet someone would sing off key and another would be complaining about song choice. Everyone just has to remember the dream, having a 10 sec car. lol

10 seconds is the old 11 seconds. You run 9's or you are nothing these days.

    This.

Today you can run 11s with a stock 50k dollar car. 10s is a mod away, 9s is where it's at.

I really think the S65 will be boost limited even with turbo, it's just too high compression to handle a lot of boost. Then again you dont need a lot of boost to make a lot of power for this engine. I think at 9 psi on twin turbos youll see close to 650+ whp.

The LHD is slightly easier to do as on the RHD the turbo has to sit on the side of the alternator which causes major plumbing issues. LHD the turbo will sit where there is more space and intercooler will bring the boost across the front. I think with RHD they have to go across the intercooler and back again to meet the manifold on the right side.

the link provided in the OP is copyrighted, so i'm not going to jump through hoops to get the information here, nor would I want to bring information here which is supposed to stay there. if you click on the OP's link and scroll down a bit to a large paragraph it explains the motor is built and compression is lowered; as well as anything else about the build you may be intrigued about.

There is a BMW circuit day tomorrow. Hoping the car make a appearance there. Sav speed is a championship driver and the cars he does are often seen at such events.

No ITB issues with turbocharging. It's like SC'ing with centrifugal.
