Not so subtle, Russians wrap a BMW F10 5 series is bright green chrome foil

Russians do weird things with their cars. Not too long ago we showed you an X6 they wrapped in leather. Before that they wrapped an X5M in gold foil. Well now we have an F10 5 series that is wrapped in green chrome foil. The execution isn't all that bad with an interesting and different result which stands out. The black plays off the green well and the add-on body pieces add a bit of aggression. It is not subtle, but green chrome does not exactly ever fly under the radar.

I think it would look brilliant in a bright blue or red. The technique is pretty damn impressive.

What technique is used or how is it done? From what I understand they do the foil first then a translucent coating afterwards.

It's surprisingly not bad at all.

Makes me wonder what other colors would look good.

YUCK! That looks hideous to me but I know there would be a market for it here in Miami if they can fit some spinning 24's on it.

That's my understanding as well. Buffing the foil so it looks perfect must be a real pain in the ass, though.
