For a custom tune/manifold/exhaust in house I would have thought this thing would have hit alot sooner then it does on the graph.

I didn't really notice that, good point. Does have a bit of lag but the curve is pretty nice and flat once it spools.

    Yeah,
these results are from the manifold that ICS claimed was better in all respects than the Boostlogic manifold.

I understand that the boost comes on late due to it being a T4
    (It is a T4 flange correct?);
however, based on the late power (LAG)
the design may be far from ideal (or better than ANY other manifold.)

What was the reasoning for it being better? The Boostlogic stuff is pretty good from what I hear.

For a custom tune/custom exhaust/in-house manifold thats supposed to be better then a BL mani. I'm just not that impressed.

    Weird.

I know someone who made 25 less whp with a T3 cast manifold, a more restrictive exhaust, less compression, boost tapering to 12.5, and a base TRM tune.

And he isn't happy with his car.

But I guess "pretty impressive" is all relative.

    93 pump.

Because these cars should be flowing slightly better, imo.

It was his first dyno after the build. Once he sorts his car out it will be fine.

Gentlemen 452 WHP on a 2.8 engine on 1 bar of boost is very impressive. The car can spool quicker using a smaller back housing and utilizing the factory M52 Camshafts. The ICS Turbo Kit was Built for growth down the line when the customer is ready to take the next step.

Sounds good and I agree, 452 whp on pump is pretty impressive, thank you.

So its ACTUALLY a weaksauce Stage 3?

    The whp/tq are acceptable,
but after claiming that the "in-house" ICS manifold was better in ALL WAYS
    than a Boostlogic manifold,
your excuses about the hot side of the turbo and the camshafts don't work.

If the reason for purchasing the ICS Stage 1 "kit"/"build" is ONLY a step on the ladder towards 700/800/900 whp,
and spending CRAPLOAD more money (and the expected slow time on Elm St)
then you may be losing your ass in the turbo business,
unless those are the people you want to "CATER" to.

People/consumers are wiser than that nowadays, truly.
They want strong, early boost/torque out of a $9000 "kit".

Speaking of pricing.... the humans are asking.
Do you have kits ready to ship?
or is it drive in, sit down and talk about the kit??

    How much are they?

Actually sticky, do you mind linking to the post where you got the info for your OP? Thanks.

    EDIT:
I misread, I thought George was saying he used m52 cams and a smaller hot side. Sorry.

Isn't this the engine that ICS blew up on the dyno because they never tested fuel pressure? What internals does it have now? This is not a true stock m52 with those "original miles" anymore fellas ...

It was so quite and peaceful... I thought you either grew up or moved on to hate someone else.. I guess we all could not be so lucky. ICS did not blow the car up, the fuel pressure reg hose burst at the fuel pressure regulator. The power above level was attained on 1 bar boost stock internals..

Jealous it makes more than your fully built S52?

    Geeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzz Already..

Stocky how can you allow this non sense to constantly continue???

Please tell us exactly how you rebuilt that engine.

LOL at you comparing that to my fully built s52. You're a joke. Please get your pseudo-science mumbo jumbo dyno altering toys out of here.

I've seen an s50 at 8.9:1 compression with a Garrett 60-1 stage 5 make 400wtq/whp at 9psi on a mustang dyno on an AA t3 log manifold. Lol at your uber manifold ... I hope you didn't design it as I've personally owned one of your former 4" GT35R intakes. It is better used as a hookah pipe than an intake for a car LOL

You are just another fly-by-night crook who recycles his reputation faster than Prince ...

Haha, well, since you called me stocky I will let it go on indefinitely! Just kidding, the i and o are close together.

George, Aimal has toned it down a bit from where he was originally but he has the freedom to express himself just as you do. He is still a bit too aggressive and insulting but at the same time some would say he brings up valid questions regarding ICS. I'm not choosing sides just allowing sides to speak.
