Need advice on Stainless braided brake lines
On my Christmas Wishlist I have a set of Stainless steel braided brake lines.
But I am not sure which one to buy, and how much lines should be replaced.
I've seen sets of 6 lines, and set of 4 lines.
My idea would be to replace them all or not to bother doing this.
So, for an E82 135i with M-tech, can anyone tell me how many lines there are to be replaced to upgrade the whole braking system from rubber braking hoses to Stainless braided lines?
On the brand side, I can locally order a set of UUC Motorwerks brake llines. But I never heard of that brand before.
Modbargains has AMS brake lines.
Seen Stoptech lines on one of the Sponsorsites, but it was very unclear which ones I needed there...
Any suggestions on brand or where to order? They need to be able to ship to Europe...

Other people eat shit and die.

I bought the set from ECSTuning bring 6 lines, which is two for the fronts, two for the rears, and then the middle lines.. which should replace the entire system.. at least leading up to the cylinder. I just received them and may install on Sunday 12/11 after my track session on 12/10.. have another track session on 12/17 .. so we'll find out how they work

I installed the ECS front and rear brake lines today 12/11/2011. Did not do the mids, simply because I forgot and then I ran out of daylight.. Will do the next track session with this on 12/17 next Saturday, stock rotors and calipers and Cool Carbon pads. I'll report back how that goes, but will also test it out during the week a bit.
The install was easy as cake, just obviously had to bleed the brake line (which I ended up flushing just to see how the brake fluid was from the track day yesterday 12/10/2011). Seemed ok, not dirty, clean clear fluid RBF 600, flushed with ATE Super Blue.
I'll keep you posted.
