So now it's 2 E46 M3's? This is what the E9X went for?

Can't wait to hear you impressions, I'm starting to think I should have just picked up an E46 M3 with an HPF kit.

Yep, the yellow one is my mom's and the white dad's. The Jerez E92 went to a cool guy up in Seattle a couple of weeks ago who is changing from a Cayman S to M3. This car is amazing, period. Driving around in it the last two days (as a passenger), it feels exactly like the stock E46 (have driven that) during normal driving and goes absolutely insane when you hit boost. Right now we're just driving around on pump (low boost, 646 crank) and it's quite sufficient to scare the crap out of you and then some.

Your car is gorgeous, I like what you've done to it! But, if you're looking for a challenge, an HPF S54 swapped E46 sedan would be quite the ride! Click here to enlarge Thanks.

On a side note, we went to the drag strip (PIR) today and I met the son of the guy who sold Chris@HPF his M3 (originally carbon black). Needless, to say he was very impressed by the car and the pics of what his dad's old car now looks like in orange widebody form. And I was able to mention bimmerboost.com in the conversation Click here to enlarge.

We wanted to run the car at the strip tonight, but the very aggressive offset 20s rub quite a bit in the rear (plus they aren't drag wheels of course), so we are going to swap the OEM E92 M3 wheels (with PS2s) from the yellow M3 onto this one and will probably drag it next weekend.

Some other interesting things about the car are that it has: an Alcon BBK (6 pot front, 4 pot rear top-notch brakes), Rogue El Diablo Track Edition Exhaust (rear section), Hamann Fog light inserts, 4.5" HPF Carbon Intake Pipe, HPF Traction control w/ variable boost control, 20" J-Line Forged 2-Piece 20RL3s (for sale BTW). We just changed out the wheels on it to the OEM E92 220Ms that are on the Phoenix.

    Phoenix looks really, really good.

The E46 had the best colors offered, Laguna Seca, Phoenix, Imola, the E92 color choices suck in comparison.

+1. We were talking about how it's funny that the Alpine one is the beast because everyone would assume the Phoenix was the fast one.

Definitely agree on the colors, I was definitely disappointed by the E92 choices. I like the addition of Lemans, but it's far too close to Interlagos to in such a limited selection of colors. I wish they would've brought over Monte Carlo as a selection in the US, love that color.

Another amazing thing about this car is that it only has 28k miles on it and is an '03! Only 8k on the turbo kit too.

I wanted to let some local guys we know hear about the new car (such as GregW and Scott with the Dakar M3), so I decided to post up some info on a certain egocentric site and found out about the censorship over there regarding pictures from this site Click here to enlarge.

Ah, yes, if anything from here is posted they try to put a curse upon your soul and steal and your first born.

They need to get over it, BB isn't going anywhere.

    How fast was it gone?

Very true. The image links just didn't work at all as the site censors "bimmerboost" all together. The links just showed up as .

Car looks great, but those rubber band tires dont look like they would serve well at the drag strip. How did it run?

Thanks. Click here to enlarge, no doubt. We didn't end up running that day (because of the wheels, and also helmets are required under 13.99). We swapped out the wheels for the OEM 19" 220Ms you see on the yellow car in those pics.
