    Why did AA stop producing E36 turbo kits?

    I wonder why AA moved away from E36 turbo kits? My guess is they had a corner on the market back before other tuners and shops started developing their own parts, so now that the playing field is more level, maybe off-the-shelf kits aren't as profitable?

    I have been wondering this same thing.

    They were the only ones doing it back in the day and then one day they disappeared? I remember reading the project car in European Car running their kit had a bunch of issues though.

    I have to think that the earliest E36 turbo folks went to them on account of the "complete" system solution, but I am not surprised that AA has chosen to focus more on E46 cars, as those are now becoming more readily available (read: popular) used. I suppose there is a bit of adapt or die mentality behind it, but an AA E36 turbo kit at a competitive price point wouldn't be too shabby.

    I think AA decided to move more towards sc kits, because they could make more money producing them/selling them. Less issues with installs/installers. Also they wanted to move on to the next gen of bmws. Most of AA's comp for the turbo kits back then havent really made any FI kits for for newer gen bmw's. Not to the scale AA has at least.
