Water Methanol Injections
a friend of mine has a 1996 E39 540i...
he intends to install a Snow Performance Water Methanol Injection on it...
not that i think that's bad... the concept is brilliant...
he however states that the Stage II N/A MAF kit will produce 390whp on a N/A M62 motor (dyno proven) ?
Is this reality and possible... ?

Can you show me the improvements of WMI on some sort of NA car ?

i've done a little research....
seems everywhere i look i see figures of around 85-90hp increases in horsepower on M62 motors...
seems to have less effect on M73 and M70 motors... 55-60hp there...
but for 500€ i'm willing to try this on my E38...

I was skeptical about this aswell, but it can't hurt to try it on a dyno and see what it does... worst case i will just use it on my E34 M30 Turbo instead
I'll see what happens with my friends 540i on the dyno first... but do you think it will be a noticeable difference ?

All motor? You are not going to see big hp increases IF ANY. The point of meth injection is usually for boosted cars to run more boost and timing by cooling the air. In an NA motor the air doesnt get that hot on the way into the motor because it is ingested at atmospheric pressure, so the benefit of meth injection is just octane boost and little cooling. Some people live long, meaningful lives.
Other people eat shit and die.
I'm not racist, I hate everybody equally; especially fat people.
