lol, Laloosh had the same problems with his 1 series as I did. And the 3rd brake light cracking is common across the board. Go search for "cracked brake light" on 1addicts.com and be amazed.

I picked 335i sedan for the following reasons:

    1. It is more practical than the 135 and the E92: it is roomier, has easier access to rear seats.
    2. It is actually better built than the 135, especially the interior.
    3. It is actually stiffer than the E92.
    4. Overall, I like the looks of it better than the E92 and the 135. One exception to that: see below

That being said, I am envious of the E92 front end looks. That's it. Just the front end. If I can do a front end swap cheaply, I am going for it.
From all the things I've lost,
I miss my mind the most!

Get an e90 lci front retrofit, issue resolved. The pre lci front end is atrocious.

    + 1. The LCI M-Sport front end is drool-worthy!

Well my main reason for going e90 instead of e92 was cause I got a sick deal on it. Click here to enlarge I'd definitely prefer an e92.

Actually all my problems were electrical and my brake light is still original.

I went with the e92 mainly for the looks, but that is just based on opinion. I feel that the resale value will be more also since they generally do cost a bit more than an e90 and 135. Also from what I remember the fastest N54 powered car RIGHT NOW is an E92 Click here to enlarge

Actually the fastest n54 according to drag times are e90s. Throw shivs stock turbo out the window, he did it on a track with an inflated timer. Even our resident vbox tester hotrod proved this.

What about hotrod? There are too many different variations of "fastest" n54 out there lol.

Fastest is a loosely used term... 60-130? 1/4 mile? Top speed? Etc. Plus some runs are sketchy at best. Results need to be verifiable.

For the record, the fastest N54 is mine. Twin 6262's cranking out 2000 whp and doing the 60-130 in 0.01s. With stock ic and downpipes Click here to enlarge
