What the difference between a stock X5M and a Renntech tuned X5M in the 1/4 mile looks like

This is the type of stuff we like to see. While other sites are re-posting BMW press releases about production of the F30 3 series starting we are more interested in real world BMW performance comparisons. Renntech took an X5 M with only their tune to PBIR (Palm Beach International Raceway) to run on the strip versus a stock X5 M. The results are absolutely awesome with the tuned car running 12.09@113 and the stock car 12.72@107. That is 6 MPH and just over 6 tenth's with just a tune, impressive.

Uh, did the stock E70 X5 M get a bad start? The white one is what I call 'Rollin".

They did three runs and the difference was basically the same.

That would be the same X5 M I was referring to from my last track outing. It is amazingly quick for an SUV especially tune only.

That's a huge difference with just a tune. Is there any other tunes to compare it to?

@leo985i, there are other tunes but its a matter of whom you desire as your tuner, JB DTKU RENNtech etc.
