What was the range of that race(xxmph-xxxmph)? I'd think that gearing, aerodynamics and power delivery played more of a part in that victory than the weight difference. Impressive any way you look at it

With as much power as both of these cars are making, 160mph comes up FAST.

The Acura is 1/2 a ton lighter... not a ton lighter. The M3 doesn't weigh 4500 pounds.

Very impressive! Do you have any work done to the gearbox? Different gears or diff final drive?

Stock gears still... That is one of the limiting factors lol... They are not that reliable over 350tq, i have broken/sheered off gears before.. This trans has been taking like a champ tho! Stock Open diff too...

Great video... Very informative. Definitely a power to weight ratio issue. Can't wait for the next run.

Ive always had an open diff, and being as the car is corner balanced up front both tires have the same weight over them.. so it helps a lot with traction..

You'd be surprised, the gearing is awesome in a GSR.. Funny thing is i calculated the gearing of Chris' car and mine with our tire combo and our shift mph's in 3rd, 4th and 5th are within 1 mph of eacher!
