    Tuned 750Li by Tuningwerk

The tuner Tuningwerk pulled out 720HP and 804lb-ft ( crank ) out of 750Li's N63 heart. Now those are some interesting numbers from an engine which is rated at 400HP and 450lb-ft from factory. they also shaved some weight by using CF parts and reduced the weight to 4650 lbs. Now their purpose of using a Long version instead of normal 750i is unknown, so as the parts and methods they used in engine to squeeze more power.
With these changes, the car reaches 62 mph in 3.5 and has a top speed of 217.5 mph which is really astonishing if it's true. The changes in body can be seen which are done to keep the car in one piece at those high speeds.

Now please someone do the same thing to 760i, an upgraded N74 makes much more sense than a tuned N63.

I bet that was in bhp or nm, as the eurotuners typically don't measure in whp.

Yeah it was NM for the torque and bhp for the power but still an over 50% increase seems high. I mean I hope it's all true as I've got an N63 I'm dying to mod but until I've seen more details I'll remain a skeptic.

Hard to believe 720 hp on just stock turbos.

Other people eat shit and die.

I still can't figure out why they modded a Long version.

No proof of the power figures. This is getting way too much coverage for some bold claims with no proof. I hate how some autoblogs eat this crap up without ever asking for the tuner to substantiate it. This is press whoring at its finest.

    From the pics on autoblog

    http://www.autoblog.com/photos/tunin...photo-4528745/

literally looks like they just added a carbon fiber engine cover. everything else looks stock...

I can't find this company anywhere on the interwebs.

I gave up tuning my car a while ago, so im going to be skeptical about this

And something tells me swapping the 8 speed for a 5 or 6 speed isnt even remotely feasible. Not only would that require alot of mechanical labor, but alot of programming as well if they successfully cracked the ecu.

Well the company does exist and has produced some pretty dope cars. They also have turbo upgrades for this motor and have for a while. I just called bs because if you've taken a close to 6,000lbs sedan to 217 thats a pretty massive achievement, where's the video? Where's the press releases with all this HP show on an actual dyno? They'd have to have dyno'd it to get those figures right? So that's what causes me to doubt but there not exactly fly by night. As for their website they absolutely do have one although I don't recall it at the moment.

There just isn't any proof. This is why mainstream blogs are lame and why I loathe European tuners.
