I have GOT to post some videos of the Piper M3. I had dinner with the owner last week; he sold his STI daily driver because he doesn't need it - drives the V10 to work and back!

I'm telling you - I think this is the future of high-performance. New cars are too heavy and try to do too many things for too many people. And they cost a lot! The Piper M3 cost about the same as a Porsche GT2, which the owner also has, and does just about everything better! He took it to the drag strip a few weeks ago and ran 11.9's at 125+. It was slippery that day and a new ZO6 could only do 13.1 on the same track.

You don't have to spend that kind of money. We are doing a lot of business in OBD-II swap electronics these days at all levels.

I love the s85 e30 swap. That will definitely be my next project. What track did he run it at? He must have been on drag radials I assume.

I don't know the track; somewhere in the Metro Washington DC area. He was on street tires! The traction control works really well.

pure sexiness right there! The S85B50 is seriously one of my most favorite engines ever. I remember when I first drove an E60 M5, the first thing I thought was, "This would be so great in a smaller and lighter car!"My next project after working on my current E46 M3 is to purchase another E46 M3 and swap in an S85 and go balls out on that car........

I was waiting for that guy to post another vid of his E30(E Thir-ty! E Thir-ty! E Thir-ty!) in better wheather, love that car.
There's a thin line between friends & business, always be aware of that because something can along & ruin one or the other.
