They stamp ID on the bosch's and market the $#@! out of them and jack up the price 50% lol.
Yeah.. My FIC 2150's are flown within 5 cc's of eachother....

We use FIC injectors, they are cheaper than ID and we are sponsored by them so it helps getting a deal lol

Yeah it wouldn't hurt our finances, however we don't have the time to worry about the HPF car. It took us almost 2 months to find the time to put a new turbo on it. Our customers cars come first, then we worry about ours.

For those watching our feed, the lowest boost we are able to run in the HPF M3 is 19psi at zero duty cycle in the wastegate. The car just did 762rwhp at 19psi. Time to turn the boost up!!!

    From Chris:

We did around 50 dyno pulls at around 1,000rwhp. My car has always dynoed about 80rwhp less than our other cars. A lot of it has to do with our massive meats in the rear. The most it made was 1015rwhp. It stopped making power after 29psi. We went up to 32psi without any power gain. We added timing without any power gain. The baro was very low on the dyno day with very high humidity. We are going to run it again with smaller wheels and
    tires
on a high baro day just to see what it does. We took the air filter off and did not pick up any horsepower. It would probably make more power with C16 and more timing but I'm guessing the biggest limitation is cams, maybe the head and maybe the turbo manifold. We'll do some pressure testing in the turbo manifold.

I'm surprised HPF doesn't have a TFX system. That would tell them everything about what is going on with that engine; where the restriction is, what the burn quality looks like....

Thanks for the info! Very exciting project.

Thanks for coming everyone. We had a great time.
Here are dyno numbers from the HPF M3 from Friday as they are slightly higher than Saturday. We are going to extend the powerband to 9,000rpm later this week for some real fun!!!! Click here to enlarge
We also raced it later that evening and found the wing to be creating a massive amount of drag at high speeds. It's great for stability but really slows the car down.
These numbers were at 29 and 30psi.

Horsepower Freaks Stage 5 turbocharged E46 M3 cracks 1000 horsepower to the wheels

Congratulations to Horsepower Freaks for continuing to raise the bar on the S54 platforms. Dyno numbers over 1000 horsepower are simply no joke and that level of power is difficult for many to even comprehend. The highest figure was hit at 29 psi as going above this amount of boost produced diminishing returns. They intend to dyno the car again with smaller wheels which should make an appreciable difference. It is likely at this point head flow limitations are starting to be hit and Chris at HPF hinted at the cam profile possibly being a liability. Regardless, we are seeing some amazing things out of the S54 that nobody would have ever thought were possible not too long ago.
