Do you regret your trans choice?

Like the title says. Do you regret buying a Manual Transmission? an Automatic? or a DCT, PDK, DSG, R-TRONIC? <--(just for Sticky).

I regret buying an automatic, I find myself driving it in "auto-manual" mode like 95% of the time. It might be faster than a manual in a straight line, but its just not as fun. Sometimes believe it or not, I enjoy driving my wife's manual Scion TC more than my car, even though it's slow as $#@! and it doesn't handle no where near as good as my bimmer. Shifting thru the gears and working that clutch makes the whole driving experience a lot more involving and fun. If I wait for the next M3, or whatever my next car will be, I will be sure to get a manual transmission this time.

Wouldn't if I had a GTR with people pushing the aftermarket. Owners of new BMW's are generally pussies.

No - my specific model came with a ZF 310Z (for 1 year of production, I lucked out) and the getrags that the car came with otherwise explode on stock power. The E34/E36/E46 guys have made out well because our transmissions hold a $#@! ton more power than they should.

I LOVE MY TRANNY CHOICE, THE BEST ONES COME FROM THAILAND.
Some people live long, meaningful lives.

Other people eat shit and die.

I'm not racist, I hate everybody equally; especially fat people.

Haha, now what's with the CAPS?

Yeah, as much i like the lightning fast changes of DCT, but it's not my type of tranny. Now i have two cars, one has auto and one has DCT.
    Save the Manuals people.

I always liked manual transmission. Automatic transmission limits your driving experience.
