    Tire Size Dilema: need input

Whats going on here is i have a set of 19 x 9.5 front and 19 x 10.5 rear for my custom bodied e30 and I am looking at the Nitto Invo tires. The dilema is i was originally set on 9's for the front. The 9.5's leaves me with maybe 1/8" space on the inside from wheel to strut and maybe 1/2" from wheel to fender. Im not into the super stretch look but i cant fit a tire that pokes outside the wheel lip.

My question is what tire size would be recommended that is a proper fit with out having tire poke for the front and rears? The rears are not much of an issue because it has space to fit 11.5" rims. But it would be nice to have fronts and rears coincide with eachother. Iwas thinking 245/35 or 30 front and 285/30 rear but i have no idea how the Nittos would fit the rims.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Honestly, I don't know on this one. Paging @Matt@Camber-Toe .

Wish we had a dedicated tire sponsor.

235/35 might be too much of a stretch in the front. 245/35 would fit, but its an E30, a small bodied car with big wheels needs thinner rubber.

Usually 8.5 or 9 I run a 235 in the front, depending on which tire brand you use it can stretch just a little or a lot. I think maybe 245/30, but Id have to see the tire in person first. the rears I would do 275s, to give the same amount of stretch look as the front...it looks funny when one side is stretched and the other is fine.

Im thinking of going with Nitto Invo tires. I have seen these tires only (285/30/19) once sitting in a rim shop unmounted so i have no idea how they look mounted. The profile seems to already have a somehwhat rounded sidewall if this helps any.

Im swapping my front springs in the morning so i will fit the wheels and post pics of the clearance when i can. Will also give you guys & gals a sneak peak of some of the body work.

285s on a 10.5 are going to be perfectly square I believe. I know it shouldnt be a problem in the rear, but the front is going to need a square tire too to make it look even.

Here are some pics of the spacing
Front spacing- 2 from the inside to strut and 1 from outer to fender:

Rear spacing- 1 from rear inside to trailing arm and from outer rim to fender: Cant see it from this angle but the rear inside has a little more space than the front about 1/4- 3/8"

When I read the title "The Size Dilemma" I thought you were talking about Sticky's penis.
