Don't know, I haven't tried it yet. It was delivered in Norway while i was in germany.. I'll be running some tests on a local track when i get home from work in about two weeks. I'll post my impression then.

Anyway, here's a outboard vid from Nürburgring. It got all windy so put on some music to fade it out... Hope you like it.

    Wow....that's just flying through there!

What camera mount did you use....it's very stable video. (Vibration free)

Secondly, I thought there was a ban on "in-car" cameras on private vehicles? (Not allowed to film unless you pay the track?)

    Thanks!
It's a go pro mount. The suction cup that comes in the motorsport package.
This was filmed on a open trackday, and not a tourist day. That's why i was allowed to film.

New update... Ordered another set of ARC-8 wheels from Apex to go with the rain tires. Great service, and the set shipped within an hour after my order. 100%

I also installed the new bumper from PeeBee motorsport. Here's a couple of pics of how the car looks now.

    Thanks sticky!

This week has been a productive one. I got a race licens for both me and the car.
The new Apex wheels showed up, and I've ordered two sets of new Michelin racing tires. 1 set of wets and 1 set of slicks.

Installed a Setrab oilcooler to run in series with the vac cooler i got from earlier
Here's a pic of the new oil cooler.

Small correction on the post above. The rain tires are 24/64-18 in front. They couldn't deliver 25/64-18...

    Anyway, a new update...
Installed the new race series steering package from PeeBee motorsport. A great product giving the car a much more direct steering, increasing steering feel and feedback, and giving less camber loss when cornering. Pluss it weights more then 3.5lbs less then stock steering
Sorry for the poor cell picture..

This upgrade sounds interesting, what does it change?

It's a package with new and stronger control arms, tie rods and spindel spacers. The mounting point for the tie rod is relocated closer to the control arm. This makes the wheels turn more with less steering. The spindel spacer straightens the controll arm and tie rod after you have lowered the car, it also makes the lenght from the shock tower down to where the control arms and tie rods are connected longer, so the camber loss when cornering becomes smaller.

I don't have any good pictures of my setup, but this is a layout of a drift kit from PeeBee. It looks much like the race kit i have, but the control arms angel and the mounting points for the tie rods are a bit different.

Here's a vid from the trackday race last weekend. It's a cup where they mix all the classes together and race for fun. The small cars in the race are called shortcars. They have 1000cc bike engines and weight 880lbs. They're pretty quick...

As often as i can. But about once a month this year.

Thought i'd update this thread a bit..

The thing i'm working on these days are oil cooling. The double oil cooler setup i made didn't work as i'd hope. Still reaching high oil temp under hard driving on hot days. So now I've removed the VAC oil cooler, and only use the big setrab cooler. I think the inner diameter of the oil tubes that went to the oil coolers was too small, so the resistence in the tubes, together with the inner volume of the VAC cooler, create too much resistance and then again heat.
So now i'm going to make a adapter from the stock oil filter housing that fits a large fitting. Haven't decided how large the inner diameter of the oil lines are going to be yet, but they have to be large enough to make the oil flow easy through them...

On another note. I'm just finished a website for Setra Motorsport. I have no experience in that stuff, so it was kinda exciting to try something new. Here's a link to the website. Check it out. http://www.setramotorsport.com

And here's some on track photos from this year

    Great start to website!

I'm guessing you've seen the HPF oil cooler, any reason for not picking it up? (Price?)

I've read in several places great reviews on it.
