    E46 M3 motor into 135I?

Has anyone in the older N54 135's that about doing a swap to a built 3.2L E46M3 Built engine? I think this would be really interesting way to have a built motor on 135's. I know there is engine bay issues with room. That I would ask. Thanks

I don't think anyone has done it before. The room is enough for S54 i believe though

can be done but the 1 series is not special.

it will be fun but the 1 is not my type.

If you like 1 series you can do.

I was just curious. HPF TT M3's are amazing, Gintanni M3 are also amazing. I was kind of hoping for more of sleeper with a built motor 1 series. That is could have a nice 500 HP & TQ on a non-typical BMW.

I also do like the 1 series but you can't get very much tire under it. I wonder if 275's or even 285's would fit in the rear? I think the largest I have seen is 265's

1M fenders may be a popular upgrade as you can get some real meat under those.

I am starting to figure out all the pricing to do this. It is getting expensive quickly, but maybe doable

It is better to just get an E46 M3.

It is also being planned. I hope when mine sells there is HPF Stage 2 or + for sale. If it has low miles i will probably snag it up. I just need mine to move!

might as well do it in a 128, isnt it lighter?

Mostly due to motor and other associated parts you will want to beef up anyway.

I understand where you're going with this, but why not just use the 1M platform? You've already got the Mbits and the LSD, ideally you would only have to swap the Motor.

Honestly, I would just grab a 1M, find a good tune with full bolt ons, and you should be hitting over 400rwhp, no? probably close to 500 with the upgraded turbos and meth?

I had 275s on mine without any negative camber, running ARC 8s 18". Now I have 19s and run 265 in the rear, no negative camber...yet.

I would love too but there is only something like 680 and every dealer that does have one want 60K or more. I could spend the money on a used car and get a lot farther. I am still hoping to snag a 1M but they are very slim at this point in time.

135...I've had that avatar before the 1M was available. Maybe it's time to change my avatar...hmmm?

Wow that is a great looking 135. What front end is that? did you roll the rear fenders for more tire? any rubbing issues? Good photography too

Thanks! The front bumper and front carbon fiber lip is from Kerscher. No issues with rubbing until I put my new Pilot Super Sports on. Then very minimal rub in the right rear. So I rolled both rear fenders and I'm good.

You have the cleanest and most aggressive looking 135i I have seen. I really like what you did with it
