Neel@Apex has demonstrated that it can be done quite painlessly...
We can actually modify an S85 harness to plug right into the E36 chassis harness so all the gauges, key, climate control, etc should run as stock!

Just out of curiosity, how so?

If you are talking about russian tuners, then maybe. But Yoguslavia has been war torn for the past 20 years and I was suprised to see a gem like this in the midst of economic chaos.

I wish someone would make a wiring harness to sell to the E46 Crowd if we wanted to install the V10 in our cars.

Yeah. My engine bay is a bit larger than the E30...i think the only issue really is converting the power steering. I have a steering box vs a rack...there is someone who converted using a rack from unisteer.com, laser aligned everything before welding new brackets to the subframe to accept the rack. And this was for an S52 swap...

We have at least one these as well. Anyone wants an E46 M3/V10 conversion harness, just let us know. It doesn't support cruise control and the stock ECU needs to be in place if you want to run the stock dash - plus it needs to be reflashed to remove readiness codes. But if you're willing to do an aftermarket dash, then its actually really easy.

So do you sell the actual harness ready to go into the car? Also what about the V10 headers and gearbox? Do we still use E92 6MT? Thanks.

Ready to go. We sell harnesses to plug into an E36 or E30 chassis straight-away. We can do this with the E46 chassis but using the stock dash is a bit more work - doable, but a bit more work. Our customers have used a variety of headers and the 6MT out of the M6.

    Hi,

I currently have an E30 M3 and a Supercharged E46 M3, but was debating on which car to start a V10 project and possibly even buy an E36 for that purpose. Can you please send me the prices for the harnesses and what ecu do we use in each? I would like to keep everything completely stock as car will not pass registration and I use my cars for daily use.

    Thanks
    Samer
