Grand Am KONI GS Legal Racing Flywheel and Clutch Kit (OS Giken)

From Turner Motorsport, I have not seen many lightweight flywheel options out there or racing clutches.

This would only be for those of you who are ridiculously serious with your track time:

This is the Grand Am KONI GS legal racing flywheel and clutch kit, made by renowned drivetrain specialist, OS Giken. This is the same clutch and flywheel setup used on our E92 M3 KONI Challenge GS class race cars, as approved by Grand Am race regulations. Includes flywheel, clutch discs (2 disc clutch), center plate, pressure plate, aluminum cover, 360 degree housing (for clutch assembly), cover bolts, flywheel bolts, throw-out bearing, and release sleave assembly. Weighs 5% less than the stock E90/E92 M3 flywheel and clutch setup. For racing use only. It is recommend to use the OS Giken clutch alignment tool during installation (sold separately).

interesting find, considering it only weighs 5 percent less i assume they designed this product to hold massive torque. but the m3 isnt really a torque monster, only with boost do the levels of power excede the OE clutch right? all im saying is its not much of a lightweight fly, and if it chatters IMO this is a waste. sure does look pretty though lol

Ya, there won't really be any interest from anyone here but just good for people to see there are some hardcore products out there.

Not even sure what the manual OEM clutch is rated to but if exceeding the torque rating the car is making some monster power.

They need to update their site. It is no longer the Koni Challange series, now Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge.

They just won that last race at VIR.
