    Meth'd 335i vs New Challenger R/T

Had an interesting run today .. was demonstrating my meth kit to E90Vader, when I happened to acquire an eager Dodge Challenger R/T behind me at the lights.

I made a swift launch on green, nothing crazy, but enough to grab his attention; he was certainly wanting to keep up.

I turned onto a highway and made a fast roll down the on-ramp. He duly followed, but this time stayed back quite some distance, not sure if this was by choice.

Anyway, I slowed down, and he rolled up along side .. nice guy with his girlfriend/wife. He complemented me on having a quick car so I invited him to have a run. He was a little reluctant but I don't take no for an answer Click here to enlarge

Three honks, he got a bit of a jump on me, but by the time my turbos spooled, and the meth kicked in, it was game over very fast. The 335 just pulled and pulled. We went from about 80/km .. I kind of kicked myself for being in too high of a gear after, but it still did the job extremely well..

Challenger guy thought I had big turbo kit Click here to enlarge Said his car was stock, but sounded a monster like all current gen V8's do. Nice looking car for sure, I fully expect him to not stay stock for much longer!

Man this 335i is a beast, and a true testament to the excellence of JB4 + Meth kit.

modded N54s are quick cars, we really underestimate them.

It's great that a humble 300hp car can be converted into somewhat of a demon with a mere $1,500 in mods.

Makes me want to target 500whp next summer .. RBs, and all the supporting mods Click here to enlarge

I enjoy any fun I can get right now, the car will be locked away in the garage for most of the winter .. bah.

Sure, no big deal. But I take what I can get around here - nothing more satisfying than easily taking out noisy muscle cars with a little 3 series. Yeah I know, I don't stand a chance against a 600hp car, but I'll be sure to write about it when I find one on the street Click here to enlarge

Surely they do a bit better than that? That's very slow for a 370hp/400tq vehicle; I'd imagine some family minivans can get near to those times by now Click here to enlarge

It certainly put up more of a fight than the G37s I've encountered.
