BMW 325xi Turbo charger or Supercharger

I have been doing research into what is needed for a turbo or supercharger for my car and I haven't found anything that is eligible for 325xi. does it not matter what my car is (325xi or 325i)?

My car is the only 325xi in the garage at the moment.

It can be E46 as well.
Turbo charger if you are looking for big numbers, supercharger for better driving experience. it depends on your expectations.

    I have a 2.5l inline 6 cylinder engine. My car is a 2003 e46 325xi, I believe the engine type is the M54.

there you go. as i said earlier, Turbo gives you higher numbers than Supercharger but the power delivery of SC is better.

I will probably be able to afford 5k in mods for my car. That is for engine and aesthetics. I want something that makes my car drivable every day, but on the track it wont have any competition.

If you are in the 5k range you are pretty much going to be looking for a supercharger in which case I highly recommend AA.
