according to their latest video we see the car up on a lift, engine out somewhere and they claim the mani is getting fabb'd. also in the previous video they claim that a 76mm turbo will be used to make sure they have space for the kit. they plan to downsize from there. i can see why you guys have little patience when it comes to this whole ordeal. VP racing failed with hardware, unfor disappeared with hardware (failed because he wont even show his 'face') so i can see why people have their doubts. HPF is a much more well funded company though, i think HPF is the n54's best shot at a single, who says otherwise? i want updates as much as anyone but these things take time. and its not like HPF is just sitting around twiddling their thumbs, they have a bunch of other projects to attend to.

Well they had a car from some dude from e90post for 2 years now and he was supposed to get the 1st HPF single. Yeah I just looked it up he posted that HPF has his car on 9/11/2009 soooo 2 years is a very very very very long time. Usually if a company has somebody's car for 2 years...they get sued. This guy must have patience of a....I don't even know what to call that.

And if they have other projects to attend to and can't get it done in a timely manner, then just do the guy a favor and turn him away.

The kit will probably cost more than what this car is worth. That is assuming they price it similar to the E46 kits.

There is one important problem that needs to be solved before that 76mm will spool properly.....

If they do finish this, I really hope it isn't $10,000 for a turbo, manifold and some hardware....

The biggest issue at hand is still the fuel system, and they are still working on deciding what to do in that regards last I heard. As soon as we receive information that we are allowed to release we will gladly update this board!

I think what most of us really want is a fuel system from them. Don't care about no big laggy single.

I doubt that, the N54 should be cheaper. If it is isn't, I doubt there will be much of a market for it with the N54 being so new and in lower priced cars to begin with.

Most people with N54's just get a tune...

Unfortunatelty, that is the truth. Thats what keeps this platform from really advancing further.

If someone would find a fuel solution, i would just piece together a turbo kit and it would cost much much less than buying a production kit.

I wish I have the capital and facilities to do research on the fuel system. If someone found a real solution, it would be a cash cow.
