    Exhaust Opnion

I have a 04 330xi and I was wondering if I could put a new exhaust on it just to make it sound better. I am only 17 and I really just like the "performance" sound. Not the deep ugly one you can hear a mile away on a honda civic but a nice crisp one.

    Suggestions/Prices?

Check modbargins out they have a decent selection of exhaust for your car with some video. If not you can find them on youtube to get an idea.

the uuc one sounds nice, just try to find some people with the difference exhausts so you can hear them for yourself and see which one you like more because videos never really have the right sound

Instead of getting an expensive exhaust, get ITB with individual filters and call it a day. least expensive way to get performance noise.

What's an ITB? Please explain the process because from what I hear ITB's sound sick.. are they expensive?

Individual throttle bodies. all you have to do is removing the air intake, and replace it with 6 individual filters.

is this effective? what about the warm air arround of the engine? hot air will go entirely direct to the engine and i think you will lost horsepower

You are right, However despite the hotter air, with ITB's you gain some HP because of the freedom of air lol

we are not talking about gains. ITB is the last option for you to gain big number, $/HP is the worst however the sound it makes is just epic.

I'd like to see the baseline with an AEM ECU and tune though.
