    Just bought this $799 - i7 laptop.

Check out the compusa coupon if you have one in your area.

    Laptop originally retails for $949.99
    -$50.00 instant

then $100 off in store for a whopping $799.99

Was about to buy it from bestbuy for $949 with the 18 mos financing but saving $150 is a better saving! (6mos financing at compusa)

    http://www.compusa.com/applications/...key=T71-156306

    Specs:
    Quote:
    2nd Generation Intel Core i7-2630QM processor (quad-core, 2.00 GHz, 6MB cache)
NVIDIA® Optimus™ technology, auto-switches between Intel HD Graphics 3000 integrated graphics and 1GB NVIDIA GeForce® GT 555M discrete graphics
15.6" widescreen, glossy display with LED backlight
6GB of DDR3 Memory and 750GB Hard Drive
Integrated 2.0 megapixel camera and Lenovo's VeriFace face recognition software helps control access to your notebook
Touch pad supports multi-touch function (pinch, expansion, chiral motion)
SRS Premium Sound audio system with two JBL® stereo speakers
Lenovo Rescue System provides OneKey™ recovery and OneKey Antivirus without booting into Windows
OneKey Theater allows pressing one key to optimize video and audio experience by switching from normal mode to movie mode

Really nice brushed aluminum-type finish on the palm-rest side.

~5hrs on battery with the Nvidia Optimus set to off.

It was a steal considering an Alienware M14x similarly equipped was running me about $1500, granted it looks way cooler!

p.s. it has Intel Wireless Display!

^yeah but you missed out on the 1.6" inches more, the 7200 rpm hdd, and the gt555m Click here to enlarge instead of the gt550m...

lol, minor differences, and a 14" is probably easier to lug around...probably better battery too.

Are you guys really that weak? I'm posting on it while taking a dump right now. No problem to carry around and everyone asks how big my hard drive is.

$#@!, I just took the $#@!er to Europe and traveled with it.
