    Another Trip to Max PSi

Yes yes another trip to Max Psi home of the first 9 Second e36 m3 in the USA. I had snapped a driveshaft last night at the track, and Max Psi had a spare 95 m3 driveshaft in the shop. Click here to enlarge Now it wouldn't be a trip without some vids. Click here to enlarge

Here is a ride in Mike's car.

Here is a small walk around

And the office with the dog and driveshaft.

It was pretty funny/sucky. I kind of did this trip to the track out of no where. Not really well planned. On another note some on another forum took my rape comments about the Max Psi's e36 m3 as offensive. It's good to see member's here are not so darn PC about every little word.

I understand, but what will be addressed in the car to prevent snapping again?

Well Max Psi had a stocker laying around. The Drive shaft shop has a 1 piece drive shaft, but I'll still have weak stock axles. Other things that can break at the track are stock axles when you run better tires i.e drag radials, or slicks. To do this properly I'm going to need to do what CES will be selling as a package deal they have not fully put it together yet. They will sell a 750il diff, drive shaft shop DS custom 1 piece, and drive shaft shop rear axles. These are things I'm planning to get. It's not going to be cheap doing these kinds of mods. Now the thing is my car isn't meant to set records. I'm not out to beat records, but have a good time. That being said it would be great to have the setup mentioned as it would give a good piece of mind.

The in car video. I had to cut it short as I wasn't so happy, and some words that aren't good were used.

Truth is you will break the driveline on radial tires whether they're street go'ers or steel belted drag radials. You need to run a slick for the sidewall to conform to the shock of the launch.

Then we shall break axles, but you are correct.

Well I'm about to go for a drive in about an hour or so. Track event? Well maybe, but not sure when(unless there is a local rental going on). We will see what happens for lunch. A turkey club with bacon would be powerful.

If stock doesn't work why go back to it? I understand for now to get the car running but upgraded shaft and axles sound like what you need. Why not do it?

I'm not a a race car driver or a shop owner. I would like to drive/enjoy my car for the summer. Parts mainly failed because of my experience. I should have let off with the wheel hop. Click here to enlarge
