    WTF guys!
I got the car at my usual shop for some work to be done, mostly change both front widebands lambda ( i have the one for cyl 4/5/6 off by a lot and thank god procede show me that through the logging of AFR and lean run safety) anyway my shop called me and stated that the air intake of the back turbo was off.... Bracket nr 11 shown here http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...84&hg=13&fg=20 was missing and probably forgot to be installed by the shop that put together the engine.... Now i could have lots of crap in the turbo and god knows how long that pipe was out...
My mechanic will look with a fiberoptic camera inside and check the situation. This will of course be payed by the shop that installed the engine...

^ I'm really happy you caught that. Although how does a shop not attach that properly?

What a PITA! But I bet its fine since the engine compartment is generally sealed. Just use a scope to inspect the turbo inlet as you said will be done.

Also to be fair JB3 did not log air/fuel (JB4 does) but I did tell you I was worried about the oxygen sensor codes you had back then. The OEM system will detect problems with the o2 sensors and throw codes pretty efficiently. I was hoping you had replaced them during the rebuild? As a general rule of thumb any sensor codes must be taken very seriously as tuning relies heavily on their accuracy.

well i definetely thought i was going lean in the cylinder 2 that detonated but all codes are related to bank 4-5-6 and not 1-2-3. This lambda are extremely sensitive. I thought also that oil from the detonated cylinder could have clogged the sensor but its the wrong bank. my shop told me that they were fine. thought if i get more codes i will just change them all, here is a picture, is basically off but still covers most of it so hopefully little damage was done:

That doesn't look to bad at all. I bet nothing got in. I've had older super charged cars with the 4" inlet wide open (accidentally) for 1000s of miles without issue. The key is having the plastic panel on the bottom sealing up the engine bay from road debris.

yes i guess its fine, i thought myself it was completely off meaning inlett 100% exposed but looks quite ok this way, the engine was also just put in which means it must have been pretty clean in there.

yeah too many 90 bends though in a very short distance but that was the only way since this Cats are very big. My shop told me that it wont matter since the backpressure will generate anyway from the cats.

Looks good. Pump only meaning no meth? Is the boost limited to 16psi because of the octane?

1 log is on pump and the other pump + meth. Boost is set to hit 17 psi. You can see the methanol flow log.
