    Speedo Vids- My contribution

bumped back up to 17 psi today here are some attempts at a 60-130. Nothing offical as my vbox is worthless right now. But using the simple stop/play timing technique, Im seeing a good improvement from previous runs- probably an average .5 off actual, at least. I know i know, nothing scientific, but Im using it to see any difference.

I did also try 3 different techniques, lower shift point and starting in 2nd or 3rd gear.

    Todays runs-17 psi

1-not fully 130 as i wasnt watching speedo, but the road (S/P=8sec.)

    2-shifting earlier (S/P=8sec.)

3- shifting early as well (S/P=8sec.)

    past vids-16 psi

    in "D"- automatic shifts @ redline (S/P=9sec.)

in "M" shifting at redline (S/P=9sec)

already did that, thats what IMG suggested and it saves stuff now, but not in a format that anything can read. I can open it to a text/ looks like MS word file and read some data/numbers, but the vbox laptop s/w wont open it and graph it...

Which files do you see on your SD card? If its just dbn files then you can't read them in a text editor...you need to open it in performance box software (don't get the circuit tools)...keep in mind, we all call this a vbox when its not a vbox Click here to enlarge its a pbox, performance box by the racelogic company that makes the vbox lol Click here to enlarge

One other thing to do, if you want to see a human readable txt file, go to setup and choose "write results file"...this will periodically, when you come to a stop after a run, write a summary of your results to a txt file you can read over...the txt file though can't be used to verify results

ill take a look in a few, but basically the vbox wont connect to the computer either, which makes me thing the f/w is corrupted, and i cant update/ reinstall..

what would be great, is if you can post a direct link to exactly what i need to download and install on on the computer, i dont like how un-user friendly all this stuff is.

    Here, go to this link:

    http://www.vboxusa.com/performancedr...ormancebox.php

In the menu on the bottom right you'll see a link to download software and firmware. Use the software to read the dbn files. I updated my pbox firmware as well and the firmware update instructions are there as well, should work if your pbox works

I think I have about 6k miles on the CM and I haven't had an issue w/ it yet. I'm using it w/ the stock flywheel. It's been down the strip about 30 times and pushed through dataloggong from a roll and a dig close to 100 pulls along with a bunch of fun outside of that.

I thought you were supposed to have some dbn files in there (.dbn extension, not .vbo)...in that 3rd screenshot try changing the dropdown to list .dbn files
