    BMW WW Methanol Kit

    Hey guys,

The idea of a quick install/removal meth kit that shares the factory washer fluid reservoir is pretty intriguing so I've been mulling over various ideas looking for the most efficient location in terms of performance and ease of install/removal. We're currently undergoing exploratory testing on the WW (windshield wiper) kit and plan to move to alpha testing soon. Imagine PNP a methanol kit you can install and remove in 15 minutes!

We've also reworked our CM tank based methanol kits to use the new FSB JB4 integration. This simplifies the wiring making it a true PNP solution. Overall a very clean and highly integrated setup. The tank based FSB kit options are priced right and currently in stock:

** UPDATE ** The custom brackets came in and we've shipped our first 10 alpha kits. Overall everything is going smoothly and the kit is working great! The WW kit price is $479 and includes everything you need including the pump, bracket, line, fittings, CM10 nozzle, solenoid, FSB electronics, , wiring, and a new washer cap prefitted for the meth pickup.

Ok, think I get it. For the full meth integration this is exactly what people need with the JB4?

Are you going to test the kits on 5's before sending them out?

Also, did you mean to title the thread BMS instead of BMW?

What are you doing as far as mounting the nozzle? Is there some kind of elbow that you guys are using or something else?

We carry meth elbows, will have charge pipes soon, and are working on a 3rd option. Will post info on it after addl testing.

Terry why did you run a line through the cap as opposed to tapping into the rubber windsheild wiper line on the passenger side. Are there any benefits to this?

The rubber line keeps picking up air bubbles. Even with an extra check valve. I think they are probably coming from the split off to the headlight washer. Plus, for the 135i you'd have to cut that line to attach to it and we're going for a 100% invisible when removed setup.

It would be nice to have a fully hidden kit, so do you see any downside to tapping into the lowest part of WW tank and hiding the pump and positioning the nozzle down before the elbow where it would be hard to spot?

You can always DIY whatever you need with meth kits. On the JB4 end all you need is the FSB controller to run any meth pump/solenoid setup you can imagine. Click here to enlarge

Works great. Easy to install/remove. If you are out of warranty and want to spend the time to tap the tank that is probably superior in terms of being able to use the entire 1.5 gallons vs. only 1 gallon. But everything is a trade off.

Nice! Good to have a proposed way as well as easy to have variations of the theme. I start with going through the filler cap but at some point tap it if I just find time to do it.

My FSB meth kit finally arrived yesterday; but I don't have the parts for a WW install. I'm going to go with the trunk mount tank for now, I don't mind if it takes a little longer to install because I've already been patiently waiting for this for a over a month (Canada Post issues!). I've set aside Saturday to do this, so I'll be sure to report back Click here to enlarge

Going to be installing one of these kits in 2 weeks. Cant wait to see how it turns out. I just got ZTZ1010's car up and going with it, for once I have a CMGS kit that doesnt have a crapped out flow sensor right out of the box!

1 gallon of boost juice mixed with another .5 gallon of Deer Park water straight from the water cooler in the showroom LOL..its a bit watered down but I think 16psi should be attainable..
