Thumbs up HPF Drivetrain component sale!

With all the recent discussion about axles and drivetrain components, we've seen a lot of interest on upgrades; so we decided to run a special on all drivetrain components for the E46 M3. We'll be running this special til the end of August.

DSS 1000hp Axles - MSRP 999.99, Sale price - 849.99 (These require you to take your current axles out and send them in to be modified, takes about 2 weeks in total)

    Some installed pics(Thanks Marcus!)

There only a couple hpf guys trying for 10s. You will never see me
    on 1/4 strip. Ever!!

Road course or something like that for sure. Probably
    start with some noob stuff.

My friends dad who was BMW driving instructor asks me all the time. Vac also. Just need to replace more stuff and save pennies for when parts break.

Does OS Giken offer that clutch for M50 based motors (Say for an s52 240mm flywheel)?

You'll have to excuse my ignorance here man....I'm not well versed on cross applications for the BMW however from what i can gather, the E36 clutch/flywheel set up will at the very least bolt up. Now whether or not the input shaft on the tranny will work on the disc...I really have no idea. Which variation of the clutch were you looking at?

It looks like the R3CS might work for you. It's a 3 disc (metallic, 215mm) with an aluminum cover, holds 1350ft/lbs static and about 800ish on the road. You're definitely on the higher end of the spectrum so I'm not sure you'll get the life expectancy out of it. Might need to go with a carbon/carbon set up.

Yeah I talked to Mark Mendoza earlier. I don't know what I'll do. I have some time to think about it. Its $3k or so for the R3CS and durability is questionable. Carbon/carbon is too much for my blood.

You'd be looking about 2470.00 after shipping for the R3CS with the special...but it's out of stock in the US and wouldn't arrive for 5-6 weeks after you've ordered it.

    Thanks! Will do!

Do you recall how difficult it is to remove all the lining on the sides of the trunk to get to the compression adjustment.

It's not too bad, although I'm not sure how it's going to be with your remote reservoir installed where it is. When you take it to the track to dial it in, just remove the rear interior covers in that area for the ease of access. Then once your damping settings are dialed reinstall.
