Dont you think it would be nice to have a jet fighter style toggle switch to go from stealth to hells fury? I value my hearing too much...once its gone it will never come back. I agree it does sound awesome...however the ability to have a quiet car for long cruises and around the town is awesome while also having a Tyrannosaurus Roar for the track is perfect. I only want it loud 10% of the time...and the short periods of loudness isnt enough to cause damage; its the long periods that cause irrepairable hearing damage.

I've been around loud cars for more than 20 years now, I love them! But they have to sound good loud, not just a screaming roar!

I know this sounds strange...but I expect a lot from someone with Nikon as their avatar, and owns a D2X: What's up with the blurry pictures?

Next week we are installing the SP 4" boost activated cut-out with a 4" Y. One end going open and the other to an AP muffler. The SP unit starts to open at 2psi and is fully open by 11psi, and best of all no messing with switches. I am hoping this will be the perfect solution.

why facepalm? theres absolutely no reason to expose your hearing to such loud exhaust and they work way better than headsets too although dereks probably going to have to insert the foam then pull on some headsets to fully get the dBs down lol.

Derek can you show us some examples of your photography? With a D3X I would expect to see some seriously impressive work.

    Definitely man.

Also for those who don't have first hand experience with this exhaust system, it isn't so much the noise of this exhaust, but the drone. It is insufferable on a longer trip without ear plugs.

will do, I'm switching from PC to Mac for my photo's. Mac screens are amazing. So far switching from PC to Mac is a nightmare, I should have done this years ago.

Here's couple that I had in my photobucket, Just as I snapped a pic the windshield blew out, you can see the window coming out towards you.
