    Dead battery

I'm chilling in my car in a friend's driveway and the battery died on me.

could be a code that tripped with the loss of power. so when you fixed the electrical issue this came up? are you a warranty man or do you source your work elsewhere?

probably just an issue from battery like stated above. replace battery, clear code, see if it happens again. or dealer it if under warranty

I'm still under warranty. I guess I'll pull out my JB3 and go through them. I sold my scan tool though

    false alarm

I started my car today without any warnings. :whew: I had a feeling that warning in post #2 was total :text-bs:

but still, very annoying! Usually the car cuts out before the battery gets drained

yup, some call it the stealership for a reason, be glad you're still in warranty tho Click here to enlarge i havnt been back to the dealer once since driving off the lot, but recently ive noticed my weather strip on the top of the front windshield is starting to crack, do i need to replace the whole seal or is there an easier way? maybe the easier way the wrong way? sorry to take this off topic but is my only choice back to the dealer for a new seal?

wow that's worse than mine... makes me feel a bit better since i suppose i have more time before it leaks. i would take a pic myself but it's lightly raining, the water makes it look better than it is. ill ask the question again: anyone know if this can only be fixed by the dealer? does the entire seal need to be replaced? or just the top? is there another way (glass pros)? maybe the other way is the wrong way (wont last)?

and e92: what is your POA? dealer for both?

you have replace the entire seal.

but if i were you i would do the wrong way, aquarium glue probably will fix the situation.

If you would drive around for an hour in DS mode (higher rpm), no lights, no AC, it should be charged.
If it's still weak after that you probably need a new battery.

I drive in DS all the time. I have an annoying startup because of the battery and all the lights inside are dim.

I'll eventually change it but if I can just use another car to boost it, That's a free temporary solution.
