It requires another exhaust in which I am not at all interested.
I would choose the iCarbon diffuser over this one.

The iCarbon doesnt look half as good as the 3Design. You might as well keep the stock one and save the money for something else.

Arghh. I asked Arkym if they will make a similar diffuser for the E82 as the one for the E92. If that doesn't work out good I will probably go for this one
But it will be second choice...

    You think ?
Left would be the new setup, right is stock

I'm just not a fan of the 2-tone setup I now have, and the part feels like it's stuck on at the last minut.
So darker (CF) would instantly improve the look, and some nicer shape would also help.
It's just a shame it has all these unnecessarry holes in it.

Just make sure you give it to a pro to paint, painting plastic parts never worked well for me.

I went to a local shop for a CF wrap for the diffuser.
They said it would stretch the CF print too much around the corners to make it a nice wrap, and advised against it.
So now I will follow your advice and I will have it painted in the color of the car. Probably second week of october.
I will post pics of the endresult.

I had it painted 3 weeks ago.
It has just been terrible weather since then, and today was a better day.
So I took the car to the carwash and made some pictures.
This is how the rear of the car looks now:

I am pleased with the outcome.
Until I can find a nice CF rear diffuser without holes, this will do nicely Click here to enlarge
