We have found that on dynojets vehicles with multiple modifications will get a bit of odd boost behavior. The pertains to the dyno being an inertia dyno and ramp up being faster than it would on our Mustang 500SE, or the street. As noted in posts below, the software does not behave like this on the street. I will note that we have had 1 or 2 cars that did close throttle a bit, but they were running full stage 2 hardware and the DME was actively reducing torque output.

Bench flashing is an option for people not near a GIAC dealer. We have gone this route with quite a few customers to date.

Would you explain this process please?

The DME is removed from the vehicle and shipped to a GIAC dealer. We can supply our dealers with bench flash harnesses that allow the DME to be powered up and flashed on the bench. The process is basically the same as it would be in the car. Many of our bigger N54 dealers offer this as an option.

What happens if someone is not located by one of your dealers?

We recently had a customer in Luxembourg ship his DME to the U.K. to be flashed. We can flash cars anywhere in the world.

Typically the DME can be shipped for programming for those not local to a flashing facility, we offer a bench-flash program that includes Next Day Air shipping for minimal downtime.

I see, so no matter what, there is an option, cool.
