    13.5 psi is all a n54 should run on pure pump with a stock ish car without significant kr events. Do you really think 4 psi will make up the difference and walk away based on that video?

    There is a DCT M3 that shows up to our local Thursday night meets. Maybe I should see if he wants to run. He's stock, and I'm JB4 map 1 and DCI. I don't know if that comparison is what you guys would like to see though. For the record, the first time I met the kid at the meet with the M3 I told him I had a 335i, and he immediately asked me what color because he had been "raped" by one days prior. The last time I was at the track a DCT M3 was trapping 105-106, I went 107.

    because the the V8 is stronger on pump gas than the I6 on stock turbo's. and i assume your talking FBO/tuned vs FBO/tuned. Never argued that.

    I agree, but the heat down here has a lot to do with it. That's why I mentioned my trap as a point of reference to show how terrible conditions were. The fastest M3 trap I've seen is 109, but that was back in November.

    Both cars have different strengths and weaknesses. From what I've seen the n54 is usually quicker from lower speeds, but the S65 has a better top end. The way I see it, either car could be faster, it would just depend on how they were modded. Anyways, this argument is pointless. No resolution will ever be made.

    lets not forget certain things were not available to the N54 at the time.. never-the-less, id still trade my 335 now for an M3 if offered..
