I know that M6 was spraying in the past. When he went against the RS6 he was using spray. Maybe he was spraying on this run too...idk?

well, put it into context, local M6 traps 121, local FI M3's cars trap 121-122, so a 1 mph in the 1/4 is pretty close to what we get, regardless of what they have as the timing system is probably different. important part is that the M6 still passed it, showing that on a roll, the M6 will still be king Click here to enlarge

Sure looks like it when the traps are close at the 1/4 but he picks up 15 mph on the M3 at the mile marker. That doesn't really add up and we haven't seen any naturally aspirated S85's hit 180 mph through the mile. It had to be spray!

Any car that gets a surge of power past the 1/4 when already close to its opponent will be king.

An SC M3 should NEVER lose to an M6 and gap should grow larger and larger as they go.

id like to see this in action. as we know, the V10 is killer and pulls on many things uptop. and we know they trap in the 120-122 range, same as a few certain S/C'd M3's . So I would LOVE to see and unbiased video of that in action

I don't think this race was biased or setup in the least bit. I am pretty sure this is the same M6 that used nitrous when racing against the modded RS6. I bet they give us some more information when the official dvd is released.

The gearing on the M6 and the V10 might be enough to start pulling ahead actually. But it seemed like it was more than 2 cylinders and gearing that was at play here. I can almost guarantee that he used the spray on this run. Why wouldn't he? I know if I was in his situation I would open the bottle up and shoot right into 3rd gear.

The NA M6 can't hang with an SC M3. We have seen this many times.

My DCT wasn't far off bolt on M5's from a roll... with an SC it would have been a slaughter.

    15 mph on a supercharged M3 isn't a case of gearing.
