I almost crashed one of them when i lost the grip on the rear tires in a tight curve, they had to come and pull me out of the grass.
In the end of the day we made a small race, me vs f1 car vs Nissan GT-R
And to my big surprice .... i lostClick here to enlarge

What year is that F1 car? I don't recognize it... Amazing acceleration regardless - the twin pipes in the back are throwing me off too... Interesting race - although I think we all know what would rule. Click here to enlarge

I was thinking exactly the same...Its NOT an F1 car... Im almost sure is a F3000... An F1 does 4 times the noise that car makes, and would have VANISHED away from those cars in half the time. Look at the pipes in the rear, totally F3000, and its shorter. Not sure how someone can mistake an F1 car? When you see/hear an F1 in person, you know it. Believe me

With all due respect, you wouldnt be able to drive an F1 car, none of us would. Nonetheless, what an amazing car it is, I would love to have the opportunity to drive one of those, I've always wondered how expensve it would be to buy one 5-6 seasons old just as a track toy... Im pretty sure engine rebuilds every couple of km would be so cheap...

Awesome you had the opportunity to drive it, open wheelers FTMW.

This might be the Arrows from 2002.

I read somewhere they replaced the V10 with a V8.

Definitley not the true 1 car that Frentzen drove back in the day.

LOL - that's the thing, I love F1. I found out what it is (I think) - it's not a true F1 car (esp. by standards of today), but about as close as you can get to the real thing... Check it out: http://www.rajamakiracing.com/eng/index.html

We have already made a reservation for Hungary ring in September, and Rayamäki have a newer F1 car on order that we will be driving.
It is very easy to be a F1 addict, you can´t compare this cars with a streetcar, htis cars can do 5 G in the turns and the acceleration is unbeliveble even with a judd engine

So F****N cool man... How many laps you do each session? I've heard after a few laps, everyone who is not a professional driver (or even some pros) the G forces the neck has to stand are SO big that they cant do more than 10-15 laps. I know for fact this happened to Schumacher after his retirement from F1 when he was about to drive instead of Massa when he had that ugly accident.

We did 5 laps every session, and you are correct the G forces is the biggest problem, i was 3 days ago since i drove the f1 car and my neck still hurts.
It also takes some time before you learn how to shift , i went out of the track and had to be rescued by the some rescue car when i accidently shifted to 2 gear in a bend

That was one of the coolest race vids I have seen! The F1 car sounds amazing.

What was done to that GTR?

And this was F3000 not an F1 car? Is this a privately owned car? What are the details on it?

If the link they posted up here is in fact the one of these cars, it is an F1, but if I didnt misunderstood, they swapped the engines for differenten ones,V8's with less hp I think... Hence why I tought it wasnt and F1, since the exhaust didnt really looked like F1 and the noise level wasnt even close to a F1 engine. Those thinks are louder than Zeus itself.

So cool they even have the 2005 Renault! Thats the car Alonso won his first championship in!

How in the world would the supercharged M3 have lost then?

Bone stock: 11 flat @ 122mph with no heat soak issues.

I don't have the volume on so I can't tell but is the M3 stick? If so, I can see a stock '12 GT-R yanking one of these.
