i would come to you, but its only $350 for R&R.

plus these guys have been very helpful now and ive already gotten them to come down so much and using 2 different companies, it would just add to the hassle of the entire thing. I mean, i love to support you in every way, but realisticly, these guys gotta eat too, plus, they are gonna wanna road test it before i pick up, so they cant do that w/o the car, and if there is a problem, then they would have to r&r again, which would not be feasible if the car and trans are not together.

trust me, your gonna have your hands full soon enough Click here to enlarge

Well..we dont really know. LM finally kicked his, at what..512hp and 500ft/lbs? But then again, the trans oil was never changed in it til pretty much too late...it shoulda been flushed at 30-40k by the previous owner...but it was prolly a lease and who cares about any maintenance right?

I bet if we could have flushed it right when he got it, then again at 60-70k, I bet it would still be holding up. Maintaining it goes a long way towards longevity.

ive been seeing guys "over there" lately talking about trans issues as well though

AK, sounds great, i really appreciate it. Im thinkin tuesday or weds, gotta see when the carpet guy is coming over.

Sticky. im gonna tell them what would be best for them, but as the proprietor of this establishment, maybe call or email and ask the same questions

not currently but plan on adding one to the total build when i bring it to them next week hopefully.

IPT has a few coolers that are priced around $50-$100

Probably the first step all the higher power ATs should be taking then...just a preventative work. Someone should rig of a kit so people don't have to rig there own brackets and whatnot.

You guys must just remember that the trans cooler works as a negative when it comes to quarter mile racing. We all want our cars to be relatively "cold" for the run but no one takes into account how cold the transmission oil is. Running down full torque runs with cold transmission oil causes quite a bit more friction in the box. Having the oil cooler might make matters worse.

Yes! I have heard they do great work. I think they do DSM stuff as well. Can't say that I've had any personal experience however.
