    OETuning M3 DCT DYNO RESULTS

Just got back from getting my car tuned by OETuning here in NY at NRGtech in Long Island - I'm definetly happy with the results.

The modifications for the baseline runs are as follows:
    Gintani Catless X-Pipe w/ 4 resonators
    Gintani Sport Exhaust
    RPI Ram Air Scoops
    MS Pulleys
    MS filter

Runs done in 85 degree weather with 60% humidity.

    Run 1: 355whp, 252wtq UNCORRECTED
    357whp, 253wtq SAE
    365whp, 259wtq STD

    Run 2: 359whp, 250wtq UNCORRECTED
    360whp, 252wtq SAE
    368whp, 257wtq STD

Heres the graph for the baseline runs in STD:

We then uploaded a tune, then took logs and sent it back to Jeremy out west - after getting new files back we then uploaded it, and got a gain at peak hp/tq of 14whp/16wtq - constant gains through the whole rpm range with some areas having gains higher than this. The after results were:

    Run 1: 371whp, 267wtq UNC
    372whp, 267wtq SAE
    380whp, 274wtq STD

    Run 2: 373whp, 267wtq UNC
    374whp, 267wtq SAE
    382whp, 273wtq STD

Heres the graph of the highest baseline against the highest post-tune (std):

We didnt give the car much time to adapt, but the second pull with the tune put out more power than the first with the tune - its safe to say that with more adaptation the results would have been even better.

Big shout out to JJ@Gintani for making this happen !

    JJ doin his thing LOL:

That's very strong for a bolt on DCT, 382 whp std is definitely something to be proud of.

Very nice work by OE Tuning, solid gains through the curve.

Heh, just reminds me of how back in the day on m3forum people would all tell me I had no idea what I was talking about with tuning the M3 because it was maxed in NA form.

I've never heard of bad things about OE, even Gintani haters say good things about it.

turns out the 9.4 run was bull$#@! because the VBOX lost reception.....but I hit a 10.1 on second try and I think high 9's are do-able if I take the BBS off all 4 corners and run the stock's up front and my drag wheels in rear (my race setup) and on a low tank of gas...this upcoming weekend ill give it another shot....but yeah I think my 10.1 is better than drews best

has the 10.1 been verified? If so thats still very fast ERM. I believe a guy with cams on m3post ran 10.4, so you are ahead of him

Drew has the fastest 1/4 time and the best 60-130 he got was 10.7. So I dont see how the 9.5 was possible. Thats a huge difference but maybe! Especially cause my cars best is 9.79 and I beat him pretty badly when heads up.

thanks man.....i havent emailed the 10.1 for verification but from the looks it has no issues and im pretty consistent with it.....I hit 10.3 then 10.1........drews times were run when the timer at sac was off right? I cant see how a bolt on m3 can trap 118-119 @ the track........im only trapping 117 best

update: just checked my phone and i remembered i snapped a quick pic of the 10.3 run the other night:
