MOTHER OF ALL WII MODS, “UNLIMITED EDITION.”

Just as the Wii has changed gaming, Modders are constantly changing the Wii console itself, giving it all kinds of personalities. I’ve seen some interesting Wii mods, but Martin Nielsen’s (aka Angel OD) “UNLimited Edition” Wii will be hard to top for years to come.

Martin noticed nobody had tried water cooling a Wii or mounting one on the wall. “You ask Why?” …Why not?

Twin acrylic reservoir tubes measure 220mm high and the aluminum is 70mm outside diameter.

A digital thermometer resides in top of the left reservoir.

The water pump is located in the bottom of the left reservoir.

The “Wii” logo was machined into the side plates.

Martin cnc milled his clever “Wii” design aluminum water block. Inlet and Outlet hoses attached.

The Copenhagen based Modder, credits his inspiration from his friends at bit-tech.net “Without the people there, this mod would probably not have been finished at all. Whenever I run into problems or just get frikkin tired of the whole thing, there’s always someone there to give you a pat on the back and push you forward.” Martin also admits having access to a CNC Mill does help with his creations, but as more Modders gain access to this machinery, it just keeps raising the bar for everyone and he enjoys that aspect of the mod community. It's something different but watercooling a Wii is like ... I couldn't think of a good analogy.

The workmanship is great, and it will keep it cool when Wii sports gets too intense.

It doesn't, that's why this doesn't make much sense.
