Its a big HKS blower from an Active E46 M3 kit, and a GT30 with a T3 1.06 housing on a ported Active manifold. Built motor with a Euro 6 speed.

The car was at M-fest but Zak's Ostrich died en-route and so the car didn't get tuned properly. Zak has made heavy modifications to Jordan's base tune (you'd expect it given the hardware changes alone) but is indeed running Jordan's Maf table.

The intent is to make more boost towards redline and not have detonation or traction issues as a result.

This whole thing sounds awesome, I hope PSI shared pics and details with us soon. This car definitely is going to deserve some serious attention. I'm impressed they are trying to pull it off.

I've argued it to death with them, and the problem isn't efficiency, but rather complication (too much to go wrong) in my opinion at least.

But that said, they have some valid reasons, the supercharger will help a lot with throttle response, the turbo will allow them to make more power up top (and way more boost) than the supercharger alone could supply, as a result the car should be a rocket in upper RPM's and still retain good throttle response. There is a good argument to support what they are doing, and I do think they are going to show it works when its all done.

What interests me most about this setup is how boost is controlled.

It's a very intriguing setup for a number of reasons and for me mostly the engineering to pull it off. I think people are missing that this isn't for the average person or a kit, but more of a technical showcase piece.

it maybe a hard task but i think the reason of they are doing is not throttle response Click here to enlarge i guess it is selected because it is not a usual thing and it is hard to make it..

A t3 gt30 would have a nice throttle response if they have built it with stock compression.. gt30 would spool very early. so the supercharger is for 1000 rpm to 2000 rpm ??

Also at higher rpms gt30 may run out .... I dont know much about s52 but in s50 gt30 is too small to have high rpm power...

They should have gone with gtx35 with stock comp also the front of the car wouldnt be that heavy ...

or if they didnt want alot of power (since they have gt30) they should have build N/A and maybe should have swaped a e39 V8.. If throttle response was the issue.

But i guess they wanted to take a challenge...

    Hey all!

We kind of kept it under the radar a bit. . .and yes it did goto M Fest (on our trailer), technically, but our tuning protocol took a dump on us IN VEGAS, so we chose not to show it, as it's a faux pas to bring an unfinished car to a meet, we feel.

It's running quite strong right now - I am personally dailying it as we speak. The motor, which is fully built(by us), has around 3,000 miles on it now and not an issue. The only snag thus far is some extreme belt slip up top on the dyno. The car made about 420whp SAE at about 4200 RPM, then the belt slipped to redline(7200 RPM). We will be going full 8-rib setup shortly to address the belt slip.

Much much more details coming soon. . .and again, I really am sorry I've been missing in action here for a bit.

No worries, but yes, definitely interested in more details on this. An in-depth article would not hurt...

Yes, it's open wastegate so it's a bit on the loud side at full song. Not much quieter at part throttle, straight open 3.5" exhaust.

Here's another angle, while the car was still partially black. Remember, this was a project we did VERY quickly for MFest. There have been several revisions since.
