B.Tuned 09' AW M3 DCT - "In the hood" Photoshoot (Works, Ground Control, Gintani, Vorsteiner)

Most people have been asking for updated shots and I apologize for the delay.

Real horrible weather around here and I've been on the dyno 24/7. Finally got a Sunday to take some shots of my new setup. Basic 4 year old D40 with kit lenses self shot and edited. Nothing crazy. So, Here's my bolt on custom tuned 408whp daily driver: 12.3@117 last year as it sits in this trim - wheels and all. Had it for over a year now and still brings a smile to my face every time I drive it. We were messing around with the photos, so you will see some unnatural standing in some photos. FAQ:

Yes, they are Real 9.5/11 Work Brombachers in BMW M3 fitment, no adapters.

Yes, it makes over 400whp on pump gas - dyno proven over 20 times.

Yes, it has custom spec'd GC EDC coilovers made to be low yet handle Boston roads and the race track.

Yes, it passes smog and full readiness tuned with full x-pipe.

Damn, that's one beautiful car. Really makes me wish I had an M3.....just gorgeous and I bet the sound of it is amazing too. By the time I'm able to get one, the new M3 will probably be out. Oh well.......

The exhaust sounds better then any M3 I've ever heard. I gotta get my go-pro and get it under load on the street with the DCT blips. I've had the exhaust for a year and outside of 30 degree temps I'll stick my head out the windows to listen every ride.

You made 407 whp on the Dynapak dyno? They tend to read a little high from my experience.

I feel the same as you but Bren says that dynapack reads fairly close to a dynojet.

I know they have a lot of settings but idk how to work the damn thing lol. But still 407 is still nice to see, I would say maybe 15-20 whp higher than compared to dynojet.

Please don't bring your but 'I've seen on the internet' talk. I tune on over 6 different dyno types on a weekly basis - in person. We actually lose 5whp/tq or so regularly going to a Dynojet. Run it @ 1.0cf and don't inflate values and it reads fine. Remember on 93 most M3s make 350whp stock on a dynojet, mine made 340whp on this dyno. 67.7WHP delta. If your 15-20whp gain was true. I would have put down 365-370whp stock. Click here to enlarge
