BMW E60 M5 rolling at 60 mph vs. S1000RR at complete stop

The M5 in this video runs an S100RR as well as an Aprilia bike. The bike going from a rolling start is the Aprilia and the S100RR is waiting for both at the bridge:

I want one! I've thought about doing the motorcycle thing for years .. maybe it's almost my time .. and in Canada those things only cost $17k .. that's cheaper than a Corolla Sport. LOL.

Probably be a quick death for me though if you put me on something like that!

I want a bike too I just know that bike in particular is way too much for me, especially without any riding experience.

Gixxer this bike is calling my so bad, i want one but i'm a bit scared.I'm not a pro biker, but i had some in past and the fastest was CBR600 which was perfect for me, do you think a S1000RR is too much for me to handle?

    Oldgixxer,

I'm thinking about getting an S1000RR too. THe previous owner installed a 100 shot of nitrous. He also put a pipe, tune, and dropped it. You think I should grab this as a first bike? It was either that or a Turbo Busa but I think I'd prefer the instant response of the N/A bimmer with nitrous. Your thoughts?

Those are good to start with, as the nitrous will help when you get bored of the bike which should happen in about a day.

The turbo busa is probably a good idea as well for a first bike since the turbo will mitigate response down low letting you learn in the low revs easily.

Really a matter of personal preference, I would say a turbo busa with nitrous would be what you should seek out.

I wouldn't get gnarly with first bike unless you got experience.
I like Harley davison crossbones. Just take some piece off, black everything and some taller ape hangers.

Different kind of bike tho. Can't post pics from phone.

I'm with you, I really like the Harley V-Rod personally for just a cruising/fun bike.

Wish I could post some crossbones pics. With some minor changes and powdercoating that bike is almost perfect from the dealer.

I got experience and to honest, I'm scared of bikes.

Damn 7 sec! That'll be hopefully a hell of a race when we finally line up. The best I could hope for is about 7.75 so you'll probably take it. Note to self don't run turbo busa's for $!
