    Gintani Supercharged E46 M3 60-130 Record.

Click here to enlargeClick here to enlargeClick here to enlargeObviously this isn't a record for the worlds fastest E46 M3, nor was it ever meant to be. Cars like the HPF Stage 2.5, 3 and 4 or Taza's Active Autowerkes car are much faster vehicles and were specifically built to achieve ridiculous 60-130 times. Those are built motors, high boost, turbo equipped vehicles which cost anywhere from $25,000 to $50,000 to build.

However, as far as stock motor, supercharged E46 M3's go in our community the previous record was held by a great friend of mine and the King of 60-130 times DLSJ5 in his 2005 SMG E46 M3. The previous 60-130 record for the fastest Stock Motor, Supercharged E46 M3 was 8.67 seconds. A very impressive time, which no other supercharger kit was able to out perform for the longest time. This specific vehicle was equipped with a VF Stage 2+ (T-trim Vortech blower),Headers, Gears, Drag Radials, MS109 Race Gas and Meth. A quick search on Youtube and you'll see this car is no slouch, his car Dynod 500rwhp on a DynoJet on MS109 race gas and ran an impressive 11.58 @ 122 MPH quarter mile.

So now that we've established the point of this thread, and reviewed a little bit of E46 M3 history its time to move forward. After being asked by numerous fellas what my car's 60-130 times were after hearing about a few cars I've been able to pull on in the short time I've had the kit, I became curious myself. So come Sunday night some friends and I drove down to our secret spot to record some 60-130 times. My car is a 2006 6-speed manual, equipped with the Gintani Stage 2 supercharger, OEM CSL headers, HPF stage 2 clutch and running 91oct Pump Gas with Meth. With this exact setup it made 485rwhp on Gintani's heart breaking DynoDynamics (Approx. 520rwhp on DynoJet). Getting to the point, I was only able to do 3 runs because I forgot to fill up my meth tank before going and its important to note that I'm using some of the baldest tires ever, so traction was kicking my a** However, I still managed to run a solid 8.49 second 60-130, a new Record!!! So, obviously Drew was the first person I texted.

There is no doubt in my mind, once I mount the brand new RE-11's sitting in my garage, add MS109 race gas and take a few more attempts I can knock off a decent amount of time from my own record time. This should happen within the next week, so sit tight!!!

First of all, congrats man, well done.

With MS109 and some decent tires you can definitely improve. Weather has been pretty good lately but in colder conditions you should have an advantage as well.

Going to add you to the list shortly, nicely done!

He's a good friend of mine and we love talking cars. He has some pretty good experience with E46 M3's and has some good pointers.

Will do. I'll likely be sending you my next run on MS109 on new tires.

Good $#@! ImolaM, that is a very fast time and good record indeed. That is with the back seats out and the roll cage in correct? slight weight reduction. Either way your car is $#@!ing fast and sounds awesome.

I recorded that video and posted that on youtube haha, what a coincidence lol.

Congrats awesome. You still need to come along way to take my record of 5.04 seconds Click here to enlarge

most of the turbo / supercharged M3s are afraid to publish their 60-130 times. they just love to show.

I am so happy to see another E46 m3 putting a nice 60-130 time. Congradulations.

I put you back into the black Twinturbom3, but let that be a reminder. The OP stated he wasn't chasing any records so no need to pat yourself on the back in his thread.

Congrats on the time ImolaMpower. With your planned work I'm sure it's only going to improve. The pics and video (props to fastgti) look great as well
