    Thumbs up Bodybuilding/Gym Thread

    Anyone here in to bodybuilding or hitting up the gym 5 days a week? Click here to enlarge

    Ive been on and off since age 14 took a year break, trying to get back in to shape.


    Current weight 190LBS 6% fat Weight year ago 180LBS 4% body fat.

    Monday: Bicep, Tricep, Fore Arms, Shoulders.
    Tuesday: 3 hours Soccer
    Wednesday: Back, Tennis.
    Thursday: Off
    Friday: Stomach, Chest, Neck.
    Sat: Soccer/ Legs
    Sunday: Tennis/Soccer/

    I do my work outs in 4 sets of 15 helps me stay lean and not get 2 bulky, also do 10 push ups between each set.

    BB on and off since 05. I don't care about having big muscles anymore or going to the gym. I'm on Insanity now. Nothing like exercising at home.

    I have had a good cardio routine going but I might as well start lifting.

    Advice people? I don't want to do steroids and get gigantic just toned possibly adding some muscle.

    I haven't had a good weight lifting routine for a while but last year it was 4 sets with 12 reps each. Maybe I should go heavier less reps?

    Any supplements I should be taking? I take a multi-vitamin everyday along with fish oil.

    In high school i was already in the meat head status i was around 205 lbs.
    there was a point where i dropped all the way to 155

    For cardio/balance/fast-twitch muscles Kickboxing is awesome! I go to Weapons at Hand 3 times a week and if I'm wearing a white shirt it's basically see-through at the end of it, and I'm not out of shape.

    I've been lazy on the weights, last time I maxed bench was about 2 months ago and I only hit 235lbs. I weigh 165 and 5'11" and definitely have more potential. Don't know what I can squat, not really concerned about max numbers, I just like to be able to control my body well and fill out outfits.

    @SlicktopTTZ: Always had a good squat since Im short,never maxxed out but did hit 735 for 3 reps,ass to ankles&used to leg press close to 1800lbs for reps. I was 235lbs at my peak&did a few local amatuer shows as a 176lb middleweight.

    I trained ItalianStallion for a season or so&he made absolutely amazing gains. He had to lay off for a while due to having a family owned business but that kid has definite potential to step on stage&win a show. He went from a lean 185lbs to almost 240lbs w abs in 1.5yrs;I took him under my wing&he was a dedicated student...maybe (hopefully)he will post some pics

    Sticky it depends on what your goals are..just remember diet/nutrition is 90% of working out,so thats the best place to start.

    Unfortunatley I have suffered 3 major injuries that required extensive surgery&physical therapy the last 3 years in a row. A completely torn bicep,and 2 destroyed rotator cuffs.     I heard if you want to get big max rep should be 8. Is this true? How about diet for packing on weight? 5'11 135 here, 2 years ago I was 150 but I picked up smoking again and my weight dropped like crazy. Any supplements will help to open appetite?
